Cloud computing is beyond being the new IT buzzword. It is a computing paradigm where business applications are allocated to a combination of connections, and software and services are accessed through a web browser over a network, known as “The Cloud”. This permits access to power computing through a variety of entry points and eliminates the need for organizations to install and run heavy duty applications on their computers; the data is retrieved “on demand” like a utility service.
Cloud computing has reached the critical stage where adoption is seriously being considered by enterprise and SMBs. However, it is not as simple as it appears and making the decision to migrate into the cloud can be a costly and time-consuming task that includes risk.
Knowledge is a key factor to success in the Cloud. This in-depth interactive conference will address tier one issues in two seminar tracks: Strategy (Why) and Tactical (How). The agenda includes lively and open discussion in sessions, at breaks and during lunch, where both users and industry experts can share their knowledge.
Enhancing the day we will wrap the conference with the first CloudCamp in Canada where the action will continue in an open style format. |
